About Us
Since 1943, the Lincoln County Board of REALTORS® has supported generations of residents in pursuing the dream of homeownership. As the local voice for real estate, we bring together REALTORS®, brokers, and appraisers who uphold the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and service in our community.
Through our role within the three-tier REALTOR® organization—local, state, and national—we stay connected with the Nebraska REALTORS® Association and the National Association of REALTORS® to keep our members informed on industry issues, emerging trends, and opportunities for growth.
We are also proud to work alongside our Affiliate members—mortgage lenders, title professionals, home inspectors, contractors, and other home-service experts—who each play an essential role in the home-buying process and the strength of our local housing market.
What’s the difference between a real estate agent and a REALTOR®?
A real estate agent is anyone licensed to help buy, sell, or rent property. A REALTOR® is a real estate agent who is also a member of the local, state, and national REALTOR® organizations and follows a strict Code of Ethics.
In short: all REALTORS® are agents, but not all agents are REALTORS® — REALTORS® commit to higher professional standards, ongoing education, and ethical service.
