We are partnering with the Downtown on a 30 day Shop Small First Challenge. The 30 day challenge will begin Saturday, November 21 and end Monday, December 31. During the course of the campaign we will encourage community members to Shop Small, locally owned businesses first. The challenge will utilize social media and use the hashtag #ShopSmallFirstNP.
 
A Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/ShopSmallFirstNP/  has been established to provide campaign details and daily challenges along with promotion of the businesses that choose to participate.

WHEN/WHERE: Saturday November 21 through Monday, December 31
WHO:  Locally owned small businesses within North Platte and Lincoln County
WHAT/WHY: A simple 30 day challenge that begins Saturday, November 21 and ends Monday, December 31 encouraging community members to shop locally, and to give participating businesses a platform to showcase their business to new customers.  This will also provide an opportunity for businesses to build and strengthen relationships with other businesses.  In order for businesses to be listed as a participating business, please email megan@nparea.com.
